Hal L. “Chip” Beverly, Jr. was a founder and shareholder of McCabe, Trotter & Beverly and a native to the Myrtle Beach area. Chip was known far and wide for his expansive knowledge of community association law, quick wit and endearing sense of humor.

Chip was a zealous advocate and loyal friend to all who knew him. Chip frequently spoke at Community Association Institute events and enjoyed imparting his vast wisdom of the law. He battled cancer with the same passion that he displayed in the courtroom.

Outside of work, Chip enjoyed spending time with his wife and son and was an avid golfer.
