Our Attorneys

Dean Hayes joined McCabe, Trotter, & Beverly PC in 2017. Dean concentrates his practice on community association collection matters and title issues involving real property.

Prior to joining McCabe, Trotter, & Beverly, P.C., for twenty-four years Dean represented mortgage companies and other creditors in foreclosure collections, claim and delivery actions, and other matters. Dean has extensive experience dealing with real property title issues, and he has handled hundreds of cases involving tax sales of property.  Dean also authored Tax Sales of Real Property and Mobile Homes in South Carolina for the South Carolina Bar.

Dean completed his undergraduate studies in Business Management at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. He then went on to study law at the University of South Carolina.

In addition to his legal work, Dean enjoys running. He started running marathons in 1993, and has since completed twenty-six marathons (including the Boston and New York Marathons).  His goal is to complete a marathon in every state, but knee problems in the last few years have restricted his ability to train. Dean also enjoys hiking and fishing.
